Where would I find these conduit washers in the chicagoland area? All the hardware stores dont have them or dont know what i am talking about.

what exactly are you asking for? they are called conduit lock nuts according to this post.

You'll see bags and bags of em in all different sizes in the electrical section just below the conduit pipes.

So they are strong enough to hold up the jeep? I was afraid they will crush.

The conduit washers or nuts are not needed for the clevis lift. They are used to help with evenly spacing each side. The clevis bracket will support the wait. I do not use them on mine and I have about a 1/2" clevis adjustment.

No, the weight will not crush them.

The weight of the Jeep is NOT on the nuts at all times. The clevis is clamped to the clevis fork and thats what holds the weight of the Jeep up. The nuts are there to insure the clevis doesnt slide back down into the fork when you hit a big pot hole on or offroad.

I did the clevis lift and it made a difference. There is no rubbing what so ever unless you turn the wheel all the way and in reverse. It clips it a little but not much.
