I'd like to plan a trip down to this place. Who's in?

Wow! Those look like some serious trails. Lots of heavily mod-ed 4x4s, too. (but no KJs!) hmmm....

It's not that much farther than Livingston, and has a lot more to do it seems. They even seem to be OK with folks going off trail a bit.

i know people that go there, but i don't know how much they have in the way for stockers but i will add this.

Nobody is going to advertise a place for a bunch of stockers to go to, and their pictures are rather boring to look at too.

Looks like tommudd found this place a while back, if you look in the Slade, KY thread from back last July. Sorry about the repost. I forgot all about it.

I did too, until Frank at JPFreek asked me a few weeks ago to do a writeup on it...

I have been riding atv's since the Harlan OHV (Black Mountain) park opened. This is the only place we have found to ride where all the trails arn't full of ruts. Now that I have my Liberty I'm looking forward to going back. If some of you are thinking about a trip to Harlan I'm game depending on the dates. I'm planning on go to the Cumbeland Jamboree in Oct. which is just up the road from Halan. I'm pretty sure a trip to Harlan would be cheaper and possibly put a hold on the Jamboree.
