You have to call ahead with groups right now, but plans are in place for it to grow.

there is a "big" day scheduled the last weekend in May 2008.

200 miles from my place not bad have you been there yet? I saw where they had the Great Lakes Run on there site but not knowing anyone didnt want to just show up

nope, haven't been there yet, i know people that have and i plan on going at the end of may, with the Zuk. They are supposed to have trails for Stockers/mild, so it might be kind of fun, but once you get that far north there are 2 tracks to play on too.

New spot to wheel in Southern Indiana, North of Evansville Interlake Property Opened August 23, 2008. Also if your a Geocacher, there's a couple of caches out there on the 4x4 trails.

I just found these places online, thought I'd share. The Nemadji State Forest one is near the WI/MN border near Superior Duluth, closer for some of us WI members, but looks fun.

Big Rock Off Road Park / Maysville, Ky

A nearly 2000 acre park that has been open to only atvs and dirtbikes for the last 10 years has opened to fullsize 4x4's.
Go to their web-site http://www.bigrockoffroadpark.com for a list of the rules and regulations. Check out the Fan Page on Facebook.

holy geez.. watch some of the videos from Overland park... talk about NOT treading lightly. just taking down trees and underbrush at will. no trails so to speak of, just making your own way through the woods!! wow.

No one mentioned jeepskool becuase no one likes the place now that theyve figured out what I figured out in my first trip.

Just to let everyone know, jeepskool is gone but the property is still open. The owners took it over and opened under the name southington off road. They're open the first full weekend of the month for jeeps and the like and on the second weekend they let quads and bikes on the trails. I went there in June and had a great time. All of the problems associated with jeepskool left with robocon and it's a top notch facility. There's also a rifle range on the property. Trails are stock to highly modified.

Robocon's gone along with his drama. I've met the owners and some of their staff and they seem like nice folks.
