Well, the KJ's tuned up, freshly lubed, and ready to extract cars from ditches. Tomorrow morning's commute will be interesting for sure. I'll have a camera with me just to see what happens. We're expecting only 1.5"-2" where I live, but I've found that people need to be broken in gently to winter driving.

FastTRX, didn't you get some good lake-effect snow already?

It's funny how different the weather can be only 90 minutes away! Heading north up US-31, I hit the lake-effect region right around the Fulton/Marshall county line. (It's an Indiana thing.)

Yup...I left school in Westville around 6:30 and it was coming down hard on the way home. Just took a peek out the window over our porch and it appears we have almost an inch of accumulation...the fluffy stuff!! :P

I've been waiting for the snow....IMO if it's guna be cold it might was well be snowing. Driving the KJ is a BLAST in the snow...

I'm up US-31 close to Plymouth (actually work there) which is Marshall county. I live in Starke country, but we usually get the best of the lake effect...
I have to go down US-30 West to go to school so I guarantee I'll see some people in the ditch/median. Even in the little spurt we got last weekend there were people stuck in the median from slipping off the road...people think they can fly in snow until they find that cruise control and bad winder conditions get the best of them!

Everyone have fun and be safe driving (all those who are affected by this).

Got about 2.5 inches overnight, and expect about another half-inch before the snow ends around noon. Looks great. Can't wait to play with my kids after work. Too bad it's all going to melt this weekend. It's supposed to be around 50 w/rain Friday-Sunday. Yuck.

I'm on the west side of Elgin, off Randall Road, We got about 5" overnight. Looks like more on Thursday and again on Sunday.

Thats the way I like it. If its going to be cold, might as well be snow on the ground. :D
