ski or snowboard??

I was wondering if there are any skiers or snowboarders in the illinois and wisconsin area??? Gettin to be that time again!!!!

I went out and bought skis last year in preparation for a good snowy winter.... and then it snowed once =/

Hopefully this year will be cold and beautiful and I'll make it up to Wisconsin for some skiing

I have tried snowboarding a few times and it was pretty fun, but I still would rather ski most of the time. This winter is my first with the KJ so I will be looking to do some winter wheeling as well.

I'm a skier, get out a couple times a year. Last year got out once in January, to Alpine Valley in Wisconsin.

nice to see other people enjoying the snow as much as i do. Ive been skiing for the last 20 years or so and try to get out as much as possible. I think we need to set up a date to meet up and make some turns once the snow falls.

snow reported being seen in elk grove village today at noon!!!!!!! calling for some more this weekend.

yea i enjoy going to chestnut quite a bit, not too bad of a drive either from elgin. havn't been there in a couple of years though. everybody should be opening up pretty soon.

During the summer Chestnut mountain has a luge run, Lots of fun, but wear long pants and shirt sleeves or risk some road rash, or is that run rash...

yea i know exactly where your talking about, when you come up the one chair you go right over it, always thought it would be fun to cruise down that thing.

yea went to wilmot yesterday, hahahaha only 2 runs open when i got there but by the time i left at 2pm, they had opened up 1 more run, woohoo!!!!!! well at least got out to make some turns.
