Broncox, thanks for advice. I always take 394, 1 and 17 to 41 when we go there as it is pretty fast and simple.

Hey all, I'm one from the midwest xterra forums and would like to thank Boghar for the invite to join you on your club run to Attica. If it's OK with everybody... I could meet up with you guys and tag along on Sunday Nov. 20th. Looking at some of the modifications you guys have done to your trucks (boulder bars, mt tires, skids, etc...) looks similar to what I have done to my truck, so hopefully I don't slow you guys down too much.

A few of us are only wheeling until about noon on Sunday so we can get back home at a decent time. You're welcome to join us if you like regardless!

I'm staying there (Red Roof) Saturday night. It would be best if you meet us at Badlands at around 9:00 - 9:30 am. The Hotels in Lafayette are kind of off our main route a ways. Email me your cell phone number and we'll make sure you know when we are there, if we are running late, etc.

Lots of clothes for my son ( kid likes mud)
It is our tradition to have hot dogs there so I will take my little grill and enough hot dogs for all participants)
I will have my toolbox and usual things like tow strap, hand winch, flag.
If you do not have CB radio in your jeep it may help to get a portable CB
Get a spare pair of shoes too as they may get very dirty and wet

I'm taking with FRS Radios as well as a handheld CB (As long as the ebay auction comes thru in time!!!)

I'm also going to cover my floormats with an old towel so I don't ruin the interior of my KJ just yet.

I would try to wear boots or hiking shoes of some sort unless you wanna possibly have cold wet feet.

Oh, and layers!!!!! Could be cold, but maybe not!

All set now

I bought some skids today. I received this Perferred Customer Card from my Chrysler Dealership. With this card I can receive 15% off products. So I got me some skids at 15% off. Will pick them up tomorrow and have them on the Jeep by the weekend.
