That looks awesome...What are the specs on the lift and tires? I like the star by the N in the Rubicon sticker also...pretty cool. |

It's pics like that that make consider trading in the KJ... You can get a used rubicon for around $11,000 in my area Throw on a $3,000 Long arm lift, $1,500 rims, and $1,500 tires and you have a -$20,000 MONSTER! The only liberty that could beat that, IMO, would be a $25,000 SFA Conversion with a 6 inch Lift that is not out yet.... |

i know.. seeing it really makes me think twice about the liberty.. but i cant move myself to apartments and school in a wrangler.. liberty's are such a all-around vehicle!.. it's a 4.5inch rubicon express long arm lift .. with 35" MT tires.. havnt gotten to wheel it much yet.. hopefully the 35's dont rub a lot.. it was the max. tire size for that lift. another wellsville trip is def. in order! perhaps this spring. |

When are the 4:88's going in it's a 6-speed.. so a gear change isn't really necessary. (although it would probably help)... plus the rubi's come with 4:10.. i think.. not positive on that one. in any respect it still runs good stock. haha |

He has to be kidding, either that or he likes to use 5th gear all the time! 6th on the down hill side of the mountain with 4.10s and 35 inch tires its like having 3.63s now, would need 4.88s as Nick stated to bring it back to where it should be. Also with the speedo showing 65 you will be in the 73 MPH range. You may think it does good but if you switched them out it would drive like a race Jeep then Interco Tire has some good calculators on their site if you want to check. |

perhaps i'm just used to my liberty with 32's.. it's much more sluggish than stock aswell. oh well a little more 5th gear never hurt anyway.. (especially on hills).. as long as it does the speed limit (eventually) i'm ok with it!... it's my dad's rubi anyway.. i dont think it bugs him much. if i were to put 4:10's in my libby.. or 4.88's in the rubi.. what would that do to the gas millage.. it would go down wouldnt it? |

Gas mileage would go up due to putting the engine back into the power curve. Rubis that have went from say 245-75X16s with 16 mpg to 35/37s getting 10/12 then going to say 4.88/ 5.13 and mileage went back to almost stock mpg. Check out the Rubicon Owners Forum lots of discussion on the effects of changing gear ratio Tom |

D-44's front and rear along with lockers front and rear, and of course the 4:1 transfercase. Oh, and don't foget the RUBICON hood decal. X-pakage just gives you a D-44 rear end. |
