Great Lakes Jeep Thing Toys for Tots Event - 12/11/05

Anyone up for this? I know the Terra Club has a big group that attends this - Sometimes bigger than the group from GLJT itself. I would like to see some of us LOST MW guys there too. I am planning on attending.

Here's the info, It seems we do need to sign up individually.

Please post here if you think you could attend. It's a great cause and could be a good way to hook up with other 4x4 enthusiasts in the area.

Just bumping to see if anyone else is attending. KJ-BOL and I will be meeting up at Touhy and I-94 at 7:30 AM and will be on CB Channel 4.

This turned out to be a very sucessful event. Almost 200 4x4s, and a couple of cars too. We collected a boatload of toys for needy kids and had fun at the same time.

KJ-BOL had a little excitement getting his keys locked in his running KJ, luckily we found someone with a slim-jim. What are the odds in finding someone like that in Chicago? :lol:

Hopefully next year we can get a bigger group to attend from our club. The Midwest XTerra guys had us beat there with at least 5 attendees. This turned out to be a lot of fun and it was for a good cause too.
