I got a buddy that works at dunhams and he hooked me up with an ORV sticker.

I have a ORV sticker, but you also need a Michigan State Park Sticker $24 residents/$29 non-resident/$6 daily pass. Called them, they said it is available at the gate for purchase.

When is everyone planning on arriving?

ohhh.. yeh i planned on getting that there.

i think were leaving around 11-12. so probably 2ish. there will be anywhere from 2-5 jeeps in our group coming.

Myself, and Towstrap won't be heading to the dunes this weekend, :cry:

Towstrap's work situation has gotten worse and he might be jobless if anymore layoff's happen! My work is getting slower by the day also, and I don't want to spend anymore than I have to at this time. Everyone, take some pictures for us and have fun!!! :wink:

darn, transmission's still not fixed! :evil:

Still waiting on TC from APS to come in so won't make it this time. I will make it up there sometime this summer though, I had a blast last year and was by myself so didn't get too rowdy. Look out if I'm there with others :twisted:

Back from Silver Lake, arrived at 1:30pm and left around 7:00pm. Did not see anybody LOST members there. Unfortunately had to leave early because of some trail damage. I did speak to SilverLakeKJ, but I was already on my way back home.

Would either of you, by any chance, work for a company with the initials, R&R?

I was laid off from there, due to 'economic downsizing', last June, so I understand. Still haven't gotten gainfully re-employed, so I'm studying for my Cisco certifications... :oops:

thats a good philosiphy. some guys i used to dive with had to recover an out drive off a boat similar to yours last summer, because an angry x-wife decided the boat was hers, and didnt see the buoys around the sand bar :lol:

and to the few that did make it to silver lake. I'm very sorry i wasn't there. my buddy i was going with lost his job that week, and a few friends from out of state showed up unannounced.

Seems like it. Still had a blast. The KJ was great on the sand. Planning on heading out there again soon. Would of stayed longer, but couldn't go back on the dunes without a battery tray!
