Today my Daughter became a Marine. She is in Bootcamp right now in Paris Island, SC. They finished the Crucible this morning and became Marines. We are so proud of her. We are loading up the Jeep and heading down there Tuesday for her graduation on Friday. We actually get to see her on Thursday for Family Day and meet some of the other parents on Wednesday night at a meet and greet. We can't wait to see her and bring her back home for a short break. |

Thank her for her service, don't let her stay home too long, no matter how bad you want her home or seh wants to be home I thinks its a bad idea. I did 9 years in the navy, when I was done with boot camp and school, I got 30 days at home, trust me way too long for a newb to be home, 2 weeks max and then not right after boot camp either. She is a changed person now, just really try to remember that. |
