Ron, I hope you made it home !! and hopefulley your engine isn't blown !!!

Matt, great pic's !!! sorrry about you'r camara !!!

This trip was a adventure ! Dustin and I had two semi's jacknife beside me and in back of is XJ on the way up there,  and crazy wind and rain storms ! Also sat in traffic for more than a hour, then we finally got there two minutes before they closed for the day ! We tried to get a campfire going in 30mph wind's using our jeep's and tarps as windbreaks around the camp fire. Ron ended up having a oil light come on and the bottem end sounded like it was rattling around 2,300 rpm.   Matt, We think some how ran over his nice sony camara !!   The wheeling was fun with all the rain and mud, wish more people had made it mabe next time !!

I'm still trying to puzzle through how I managed to run over the camera. Only thing I can think of is that I sat it somewhere on the back of the Jeep and when it fell off the next Jeep that came down the ledge must have run over it. Because of where it was found it would have been impossible for someone to see ahead of time.

Ah well, it was only a $500 camera (DSC-H5). But the way I look at it is a good wheeling trip $20 plus gas, broken camera $500, wife not upset about busted camera...priceless. Of course, there goes any hope of doing anything else to my Jeep for a while.

Speaking of which, someone has to be tempted enough to buy those super skinks from Rock Lizard. I'd really like to get my $415 deposit back on them, but cannot until someone picks those up. Come on guys, you know you want them. :)

Great Pics! Wish I could have made it, but I've been laid off long enough, that I couldn't afford the gas to get there.

Maybe next year.
