Ya Tom it looks like things may have stalled. Well if it's still on I'm in, especially if ls6jay hosts, it looks like he should be no more than 5 miles from my place. But I'm cool with anywhere in the Det. metro area. I would love to host but I am in an apartment. :banghead:

Been the same way since 04/05 everyone talks but never get anywhere.

Looks like you will have to start out with one person and grow from there!

I'll still try and come up and help you if I can

ls6jay, are you still ok with hosting? If not, I will. I am in Livonia right off of i-275 and i-96 so easy to get to for everyone.

sorry I have been out of twon with no computer this last week I thought we had some one that cloud do this but we just need to let him now at had a house and room for parking by pickeny or some were like that what would work for me and hop that this can work would love to help out with it in any way I live in the mild of the state so it would be about 2 hours for ever one to get to my house and no a lot for parking . but I would love to host some time

Sorry I have been out of town without a computer. I thought we had someone that could do this but we just needed to let him know. A house and room for parking near Pickney or somewhere like that would work for me and hope this can work. I would love to help out with it in any way but I live in the middle of the state so it would be a 2 hour drive for everyone to get to my house. Also I have no parking. But I would love to host one sometime.

Sorry I had to translate it.
Not being a smarta** just couldn't read it

One, you need to make sure if you host it you have plenty of parking room, plenty of places for people to be, thats why I suggested a local gathering hole or someones garage "with heat" for the first time. Neutral territory. No one comes to a M&G and sits around in the house trust me. The place someone suggested earlier sounded good but then no one said yes no or other wise.

I'd be interested in meeting up, but I agree - some type of heated garage or public venue would be best. If it were warmer out, I'd recommend Stoney Creek or Metro Beach.

I used to be in a local Grand Prix club (MCCGP) a few years back and we used to meet weekly on Tuesday nights at the Coney on 19 and Garfield (across from Ernie's). We had contacted the owner for permission, but they were OK with it.

Anyone know of a good Buffet type place even that you could meet at, anywhere that would have tables big enough for a group, not outlandish on food prices etc. Has to be someplace that would be a central location for everyone.

Ideas ??????????

I would say come on down but I don't think all of you want to drive to Toledo ! :ROTFL:

Ok, out of fear of this thing failing again.... here goes...

WHAT: Meet and Greet Michigan ( and any of our neighbors )
WHEN: Jan 30th, 2010 11am - 3pm
WHERE: Wolverine (Kevin's) Place ( Livonia, MI just off of I-275/I-96 8 mile road exit )
For you GPS lovers: Latitude = 42.4388, Longitude = -83.4055

PM me for the exact address.

I have plenty of parking for as many as 20 jeeps and a 2 car garage with a portable heater so we can take a look at each other's rides and use the garage if anyone needs a hand with something.

Since I won't have to drive anywhere I WILL PROVIDE FOOD. Please bring your favorite drinks!

Hope to see many of you in just a couple of weeks!!!

I was planning on it, but all of a sudden, a job came through for me. However, it has taken me out of the MidWest and now I am in the MidAtlantic.
