| Post subject: | Cliff's GLJT+MWJT Run October 2006 |
Some of you may be interested in this, so I'm posting it here. -- http://www.midwestjeepthing.com/forums/ ... =0&M=1&S=1 Ok folks, we're doing the Cliff's run October 7-8, 2006 in Marseilles, IL. This run will be in conjunction with GLJT who will hopefully be willing to serve as trail guides for one of the days. I will find camping accomdations as best I can in the next couple months and post full details. Cliff's is approximately 90 minutes from "downtown" Chicago, and I am glad to show people around if you come a day early or so. The website for Cliff's is here: http://www.thecliffsinsaneterrain.com/ It is approximately 250 miles from St. Louis and is easily accessible by taking I55->I39->I80. From what I've heard, it is not for the faint of heart, so I expect there will be plenty of fun had by all. Please let us know if you'll attend! |

I'm interested, although I hear the terrain there is brutal and probably not appropriate for a stock KJ. |

Perfect reason to get a lift and have a lift party! And then join MWJT since they love helping KJ's through stuff. lol |

I took my stock KJ to the Cliffs. I also had the limited slip from the factory but besides that bone stock. Now the trails are tight and I dented my door but it was a blast. ---BlackOps |

I took my almost stock 4cyl YJ to the cliffs last october... it was great ... i should post some pics.. but a stock kj might just be a lot lizard at this event ...... especially if you like your paint! But im sure you can hitch a ride with someone else....... or help be a trail guide. The cliffs are fun and mean, but are fun too. I will try to make it with both of my jeeps. |
