Not so bad out there right now. Though I did shovel off the roof. When I got done I had completely mounded over my front stoop, and that was a nightmare to shovel.

Anyone have name tags or about 20 address labels? (1" x 3" approx?). Would save me a trip to the store in the slush tomorrow, I forgot about this.

Do you have a flat roof Boiler or just that much snow?
I lived in one of "them thar mobile homes" (you know the ones Tornado's always blows away) for a short while years ago and had to shovel it off one winter several times.

Pain in the butt for sure.

"As of 11:27 PM there is blowing and drifting snow with visibility of 1/4 mile or less at times. Roads are very slick and hazardous. Motorists are being asked to stay off the roadways as much as possible, but to be extremely careful if they venture out. Depending on the area there is currently between 5 to 9 inches of snow. Snows will continue with it tampering off overnight somewhat. "

Real windy here 25/30 MPH winds maybe 2 to 3 inches of snow is all.
Down home Mom said about 12 to 13 inches at least with more on the way!
Wouldn't that be fun ( with no one else on the roads)

I guess we do have a Level 2 here in Toledo area, some Level 3s south of us

Any areas of Indy you'd recommend NOT staying the night in?

All of them!

go eat some sausage. i would reccommend staying at the new hotels on 96th street. also 82nd and shadeland has a very nice hilton and a drury inn. theres a fairfield in close to there also.

dont mess with stuff on the other shadeland. its ghetto as hell. also stuff on pendleton pike. its close to 38th street and no one wants to stay on a street named after a gun (its dangerous over there)

Thanks!
Update us in the morning on the conditions, I'd hate to shoot down there only to get stranded there, or worse.

After talking to more people down that way I think I'm calling it a day. I was really looking forward to this M&G but don't want to risk it.

Everyone that does go, be careful.
