Sorry had someone stop over
All of the above is pretty much the way it happened, now we had been out at a couple of places that served us a "few" beers so portions of the story may not quite be the way it was told to me but close enough!
Tony sadi he thought at 3 AM whos going to see him, he thought he knew my number so he starts walking ( I bet sneaking) towards the gas station.
Well needless to say he never made it. Cops come by, he's spotted !
When asked what he was doing he thought it was funny so responded in ........well not English. So the cops see someone in sock feet, boxers, and a black lather jacket and speaking some other language. So of course he goes for a ride.
NOW the next morning I try sending him a text , no answer, wait a while, another one, mmmm drive to the hotel, knock on the door, nothing again? What the heck? I mean its 10:30 AM??? go to the front desk, explain I am a friend etc. Manager goes to the room and knocks....no answer??? I call Sean who was to drop him off the night before. Where's Tony is he with you? "No" says Sean I dropped him off last night about 2:30 " OK did you see him go into his room ? "No I dropped him off in the parking lot and left! Why??" Well Tony is missing and I am sure his wife will not be happy if we lost him!
I have magicjack so try calling his number. Someone answers?? Who the heck is this?
Well it seems that a cop is walking by Tonys jacket which is in a bag and he hears a phone, knowing he is locked up for some strange behavior ( not sure running around in your boxers is starnge but oh well) he wants to see who it is. OK now I know where he is. Call another number that he gave me and find out what bail is . 1500 bucks!!!
Dang .
So go get Tony and thats when he realizes he does have his phone but he must of had it in another pocket cause he swears he tried to find it to call me. When I go to pay the bail I tell them why he is in the States, where he is from and everything and that he is to go home the next day. They ask me when he is leaving Toledo, I say very quickly in about three hours! So they turn him loose for me to make sure he leaves town!
So that's Tony's last night in Toledo!
Having a nice smoke before bed in his boxers, not hurting anyone!
There's more to the story, but you get the idea
