Convoying to Badlands from Chicago the morning of April 3rd with TonyCRD himself! :BANANA:

We gotta make up the time difference from central to eastern time... so if we try to be there by 9-9:30ish, we'll probably leave here around 5am. :dizzy:

We usually take Rt. 41 straight south... not sure how much quicker the interstate would be.

Not real sure yet how we'll go.

If we take US-41, Tony can see the wind farms.

Man this sucks! April 3rd is my granddaughters 3rd birthday, I wonder if she won't notice if I there.......... I'll have to see if I can get myself out of her party and down to the Badlands.

It's a 2½ hour drive from my house down that route. I'll talk to you more next weekend at the Indy M & G about it.

26 miles shorter on US-41, 4 minutes shorter on I-65. I enjoy the drive down US-41 over I-65.

for me it's: 421/43 = 117 miles/ 2h 37min 65 = 141miles/ 2h 45min 41 = 132 miles/ 3h 13min I'll think about it, but I more than likely will meet you all there.

I think I may get a room somewhere Friday night Toledo down is 289 miles so over 5 hours I would have to leave before I went to bed Anyone stayed in the area before ??

i would help pay for some gas if someone from the area wants to give me a ride. I want to go but the CRD has 125k miles and needs a bit of help before i even think about going off roading again. I will go also to be the event photographer/spotter . i guess i am a maybe for now.
