OK, since everyone loved the trail, and we'd like to finish it, what do you say about going back in December when Tokyojoe is back in OH? Possible dates are December 16, 23, or 30 (Tokyojoe's dates aren't firm yet, but it's not too far away). As for snow, we'll just have to see what happens. So, anyone interested?

EDIT - choice was for 30th...

December 30:

I'd be more interested in January or February. December is too full of other schtuff to get done.

Interested for sure... Both the 16th and the 30th are open atm but then to fill fast as family is the focus over that time of year. I will be on my Chirstmas break over that time so things are pretty open for me as we are not traveling this year.

We usually do not get alot of snow here. If we did happen to get some when we planned a run, its just b/c our luck sucks really bad. I cannot remember the last time we got snow in December that actually accounted for anything.. :?

I imagine the snow would be an added challenge as well as an addition to the scenery! If there's not that much...what can it hurt? I'd be interested in the Dec. 16th run.

If those rocks have snow on them, no way I would try it.

Ah c'mon...get a good set of ATs...why not? It's not like you're flying through the trails...maybe a little "controlled" sliding here and there! I dont know...never been wheeling at a place like that. You have more experience than I do Blake!

That could get expensive. Some of the photos from Livingston really dont do it justice. I am not saying it is impossible, just saying once you see the rocks and drop offs there, you will have a heathly respect for them.

Yup.. At times you are inches from trees and drop offs that would do some damage to parts.

With just the little bit of rain we had, we were sliding on some of the rocks. Made for some good hits on skids and hitches. 8)

I can't say I'd be the one to try. I have no experience whatsoever on rocks...especially ones of that size! I'm just giving Blake a hard time!! :P I would like to try that place sometime...maybe one of these runs if I'm lucky. I'll hopefully have sliders and skids by December.

Yeah, from the only guy to not do the chute (along with bobby dodger)... Oh yes, I have respect for that trail, but I'll bring a broom to sweep off the big, tough rocks!

The chute was a spot of staired, sand stone that was just over a kj in width up a hill. The hardest stair was about 3 ft tall and straight vertical. This was where I thought an unlifted KJ would have had trouble getting a tire on the rock as the front bumper would have made contact before the tire. Once you got the front tire on the rock, you had to bump over the stair on the rock rails to get up it. We placed some rocks on the right side to help. There was a bypass that went up a steep, muddy, leaf covered hill. Fun stuff :)
