For those who may get lost, road is blocked, etc, ask for directions, and nobody knows what Jerome, MI is, or their GPS has no clue where Jerome, MI is....

That's because Jerome, MI doesn't really officially exist.

It is an unincorporated community inside Somerset Township, MI.

Ask me how I know.

Oh, BTW Marlon... if you go to this... there IS another race that weekend...

Ahh, CJ told me. I'll just take I-94 to US-127. Problem solved. :D And better gas mileage too!

We'll drive right by on Thurs. night in a friends Infield Race Bus with viewing platform! (old school bus with stickers and plywood on top w/ 2x4 handrails :jester: ) Trying to maneuver that bus in the middle of Tecumseh probably won't happen! Probably won't sober up or leave the infield til Sunday night. !

Yeeeeeeeaeaaaaaaahhhhhhhh.... uh been there and done that too. Don't remind me. :) Don't even get me started about being FORCED INSIDE OF THE SPEEDWAY then having to ask for directions A TOTAL OF 10 TIMES, after going in a circle twice... then security radio-ing over my license plate because I was "speeding". Wow that was a bad day made all better after wheeling and food. :D

If you guys don't mind putting up with an off road noob I'm in. Ive never done any off roading and the son is bugging me to take him. Going with a group seems to be the best idea.

Are Michigan ORV stickers required? If so I'll have to pick one up.

ArcherAce, you're coming up from Toledo, so you should be fine. Just take US-223 all the way up until it ends, and it will turn into US-127. Take that to US-12, Chicago Road, and you want to go west, and that'll lead you straight there. Michigan International Speedway is EAST, but I will warn you, traffic will still be heavy in the vicinity, so allow for extra time.

I should be fine, Marlon. I've been by the place a couple times already. The guy that installed the new (to me) barrel on my M1 has his shop up that way.

I just remembered that Chrysler is willing to pay me x2 on the 15th to work in lowbake. I'm enjoying my last day of shutdown right now and was asked to work 12 hours, 7 days this coming week. Crap, the boy really wants to go... If we start around 10, I could probably hang out until 2:30ish and still make it into work that night.

Hell, I'll work it out. I'm going!

You know there were other pics taken besides those. :p I wonder what would have happened if I grew a pair and just let fate take its toll? Would I have rolled it, or would it have made it through?

(It made it through like nothing the last time we drove through this!! This is what I get for taking different lines!!!!)
