Just wanted to pass this along....

Fines will be anywhere from $50-$2000!

And before you ask, all garbage and recycling trucks are eqipped with cameras, they would be able to eventually narrow it down to your garbage can.

most of the larger part stores have collection units

bunch of states have banned kitty litter in the landfill too, imagine how much space that junk takes up lol

Before the LAPS started recycling them, I used to drain them the best I could and burn them in the fire pit, then put the left over metal in the recycling.

I burn mine
(down home where the nearest neighbor is a mile away)
keep them in a 5 gallon bucket with lid that seals up here until time to head down

I'm going to be checking with my local parts stores to see exactly what they are taking and if this will change how much they take. I imagine they pay a fee to dispose of this stuff somewhere and it may not matter the quantity, but not everyone has a place they can burn the stuff like Rev Mudd :)

Oh and I think in Wisconsin it is illegal to burn things like that, but maybe it is in Ohio too :)

I always have big brush piles to burn down home
so throw them on top of the pile,
also throw some used oil mixed with diesel on as well,
light it up and step back
