Okay guys, i'm officially settled here in the KC area, Independence to be exact, and itchin' to go wheelin'. Unfortunately, i won't be able to go to ECS this year as i've too much going on in transition yet. i do want to get out locally though.

So Gary, Craig . . . i'm calling you out (and anyone else in the area i'm not aware of). Let's get a weekend and a location and see if we can make it happen. The only weekend that would really be bad for me is the first weekend in Oct., 1st & 2nd, which i believe is ECS anyway (?).

So give us a shout and let's get out. i need to break in my new tie rods/ends, etc. (please note i said break in, NOT break! ). Also, those familiar w/the area could maybe mention the local spots. i'm aware of K Rocks and SMORR, but that's about it.

Southern Missouri Off Road Ranch (SMORR). SMORR is outside Springfield, MO and i'm told K Rocks is about 1.5hr outside KC (though i've not been there).

Where ru at arengant?

I am at fort Leonard Wood, SMORR is closer to me than you, but Kansas rocks sounds fun!

We're having our baby in the new two weeks, so October might be too soon to leave even for a day. ECS would be fun too, but too far and too soon.

Ron,
I just about went today ( my son tried to talk me into it). Craig and I have been talking about getting out we just have not set a date. I will start a thread in the Great plains Section and see what dates everyone can come.
Ps... We are in Great plains section Ron.

We should plan a weekend trip this spring for everyone to a MO off road park. Seems like we are getting a few people in MO, but everythings so spreadout here taht we have some miles between us. Anyone down?

I would love to!

My school doesn't allow too many long weekends, but the chances of me going anywhere are good if it's a 4 day! SMORR is close (to me) and I could do it in a day, but I think it's pretty far from everyone else.

I'm willing to drive a good 4hrs or so and make a weekend outta it if others are going also. I'll have my brother be my spotter/co-driver

Might be able to make it over to Smorr or one of the other MO. Offroad parks this spring. But it would have to early I'm going back to Moab in May.
