Ok so due to custody issues with the kids and my ex, I guess I won't be moving to Tampa after all  . Since I'm stuck in MO I'm trying to make the best of it. Would anyone be intrested in doing maybe a weekend wheeling trip to one of the parks in south MO or maybe KS? I'm open to ideas....anytakers?

I'm new to wheeling in this area so I'll start hunting up some places we could all maybe agree on and plan a trip. I'm pretty flexable as to when and where. I was thinking April at the soonest. I want it to be nice and warm outside lol :JEEPIN: Ideas on when and where anyone?

SMOOR is a nice park with a good campground. I heard they are not open every weekend anymore.

I'm limited to one day myself, so anything under a few hours. I'd love to meet up before I PCS in August. Kansas rocks would be about the furthest I personally could do. Almost anyweekend works with enough notice.

I'll have to get a pass since it's out of state. How does memorial day weekend sound? I bet it would be busy there though...

I would like to go in April. My son is going to pitt state (30 min) from KRocks and he will be able to come out if school is not out yet. The park is busy the third weekend in april but is clear the last weekend. May has events for two weekends. If it is alright with you guy's I will start a thread in great plains section about this run.

Yeah, I think late April or May would work fine. We'll just have to nail a date down. I might try and do a few more mods to the KJ before we go  By the way, anyone running a CB in the KJ? If so I need to get off my arse and put it in.

I wish I had a cb, I just use my son's to walkie talkies :)

The weekend of April 21st would be the first I could go (and best)
