I know it is short notice, but this may be the last time to wheel at Northwoods Overland http://www.northwoodsoverland.com/ due to insurance issues.

It is located in Rib Lake, WI 54470. Wheeling and camping all weekend, I will be heading up with BCC Thursday and returning Sunday. If anyone is interested let me know.

I will be in the TJ. I have never been to this place before so I have no idea what to expect, but will take pics to share.

I was up there a couple of years ago. That's too bad that they are closing, they have a couple of interesting trails. Owners are really nice people.

I'm going to be up near Minocqua this weekend, got an appt with a contractor on Saturday or I would consider running over there with you.

I misunderstood, thought you were up there last weekend. I'm off to California for my Nieces wedding this weekend. Have a great time.

Now that's a shame. It's too bad they couldn't make it work, I hate to see parks close when we need more to open.

The trip was good, it is a very small park, it was pretty much ran on the first day in 4 hours.

lots of mud, and then some technical stuff that I broke another passenger side fog light off, (darn trees), then rubbed some powder coating off of my front ad rear fenders (but they held like champs) and also a small dent and scuff in my drivers side hood from sliding into a tree.

I also rode and drove in a buggy, and think I might have to get one. my camera acted up so I didn't get any pics, but will try to post some from fb and see if they work.

but overall, I would not do this trip more then once a year, just not enough park for the 5 hour drive for me.

It is done and over with.

The owners are not allowed to have the offroad park there due to no insurance and not being able to get any.

But some of the clubs are going to be able to plan working trips out there with some prior approvals. When they are announced I will put out the info.
