I'm in the market for a Liberty; assuming I cannot find one already lifted - anyone suggest a shop to install the stuff? Preferably within about an hour's drive of north macomb county.

2 hours south of you.
But up there lots of 4 wheel drive shops
although very few know anything about KJs/KKs it seems

What year are you looking for ?

Thanks! would prefer one with KJ knowledge / experience. Looking for a 2002. New job means possibe recalls during weather/other disasters - my RX8 won't make it this winter. :-) Something like a KJ seems about right mix of manueverable, reliable, capable, and pretty neat.

Just don't buy the lift kits they advertise, since they're all junk for the KJs

Run down to one of our M&Gs or work days and see some lifted KJs sometimes KKs etc
Or just come down and I'll take you for a ride in one to see how you like one lifted, tell / show you some things to look for etc
