Who is up for a run at Haspin Acres on June 3rd. Speleorelic (George) is coming down to visit family in Dayton and wants to go on a run. It located in Laurel, IN which is great for us Western Ohio or Indianapolis folks. Haven't been there, but I figured it's worth a try. I've seen some reports from other Jeeps site with people out there in stock to slightly moded Jeeps so we should be fine. http://www.haspinacres.com/ http://maps.google.com/maps?oi=map&q=Laurel,+IN |

I definetly want to try that place sometime, but that's a bad weekend for me (the folks should be in town). I really don't think I could make it out there till September... |

My ordered Libby just came in. I'd love to take it out that day if my schedule works out. Still looking for more KJs? |

If you guys would like to check out some pics of Haspin we just went this past weekend. We just bought our used 02' Limited so it won't be in the pics, it was a fun time, they do have showers, but they are ice cold, plenty of camping spots. The pics are on the website below. Have fun! www.monroecounty4x4club.net |

Alright guys, less than 24hours away. Yes it will be quite muddy, but I think we should be okay. We will stick to the easy stuff first. It's suppose to stop raining this afternoon so hopefully it will dry out a bit overnight. Tomorrow is suppose to be quite nice. 77F, sunny and only 20% chances of isolate storms. Nice day to be out doing a little wheeling. I'm going to be leaving my house at 0730 EST and should be there by 0900EST DST. If you arrive early please go in a get your park admission pass and wait for the rest of us. I will be carrying an extra safety flag if anyone needs it. Have your CB set to channel 13, we may change later if there is a lot of traffic. Ed |
