UOOC is sponsoring a run to Rattlesnake on Oct. 27-28. I won't be able to camp out (wife is due to have our 4th in a few weeks), but I'd like to try to make one last run before it gets too cold.

So, anyway, I'm planning to show up Saturday morning. I've never done Rattlesnake before, so I'd like to give it a shot.

Hope to see some of you there.

I may be interested in going - it just depends what my wife has for me to do that day :)

I wonder how the trail rates. I'll be honest - I was a bit nervous running Forest Lake without skids.

On the UOOC site they say it's about a 3.5. I'd say Forest Lake is a 3 or 3.5. So it might require skids, I'm not sure.

I've never talked to anyone who had a KJ on it, except JediJeeper's SFA, but that doesn't count. You never know, though--some trails are inherently more difficult for a TJ or XJ than for a Liberty, and vice versa. Depends on whether the challenges come from traction, clearance, approach/departure angle, wheelbase, width, or whatever.
