Well guys, I didn't make it to the National Training Center in California for my training rotation. The day before I was to leave my commander decided it might be a better idea for me to stay behind. That was Thursday; Friday morning Jen was admitted to the hospital because the baby wasn't doing so hot. Five minutes later the baby was doing fine but they decided that it might be a good idea for Jen to stay anyways. By the end of the weekend, Jen was 3cm dilated and 75% effaced and the baby had had a couple more trouble periods so the docs decided that it would be smarter to allow Jen's labor to continue even though we were only at 34 weeks (6 weeks early). After 2 contractions the docs realized the baby wasn't tolerating labor and it was time to get him out. Half an hour later (21 May 5:55pm) we were the proud parents of a healthy 5 pound 8 ounce baby boy.

Zachary Pierce Coulthard and his Mommy are doing well. Jen should be home on Friday and Zack should be home in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, the hospital's wi-fi doesn't allow me to access my picture hosting site so pictures will have to follow at a later date.

WOOHOO!!

Congratulations Pete!

I'm glad to hear that everything has worked out for the good. Time to get the newborn rollcage for the Jeep.

Tricia, was wondering if the baby shower was still on just with an extra guest
now remember, he can't drive until he is 8... Tommy didn't do so hot at 7  Maybe he just needed bigger blocks on the pedals and a phone book

you ought to trade the hoopty for an old stationwagon with real steel I know a guy selling an old crown vic style wagon

The shower is still on as planned even if we have to bring the baby or not.
