A couple KJ's from New Orleans are makin our yearly run to Colorado this coming sunday. We are hooking up with a couple jeepers from Austin TX. I was checking to see what y'all know bout the trail conditions where we are going. Our usual meetup point is at Kerr Lake just northwest of Platoro. Then were going up the Continetal Divide to the Wolf Ski area. After that were gonna bump it over through Creede to Rio Grande reservoir and on stony pass to silverton then up to engineer to Lake City and who knows from there maybe a little trip back on Cinnamon and Ophir to Alta lakes. If anyone wants to fish or wheel for a day or two you can meet us at Kerr Lake (pg 85 A-5 delorme). Any ideas or recent trail knowledge or great camp spots along the route let me know. I'll post plenty of pics when I get back heres one from last year.
