Any advice on this subject would be welcome.
I would start with skids and tow points even before a lift. You can still wheel without a lift but with skids and tow points, but a lift without those things will get you further into trouble. What kind of budget you have to work with would give a better idea what direction to go first. There are also dealers (one in particular comes to mind

) that you can buy products for less rather than buying direct.
I have a meeting with Drive In Autosound CO Springs on 2/20. I'll be pretty busy most of the day with that, but maybe later in the day I could check out your stuff? I fly out of Denver first thing in the AM on Friday for FL and I do have other dealer visits to take care of before then.
I appreciate your advice and it is well-taken. You have some pretty cool items on your website.
I am not so concerned with budget as much as drive-ability. I cover the entire rocky mountain region and though I will airline a lot (like when I go to CO) I still drive a lot of miles on the pavement. For instance, last week, I drove up to Kalispel, MT, over to Haver, MT and then all points in between on out to Billings, MT. I then took a turn to Sheridan, WY onto Cody, WY and about 44 miles from Cody along Rt 14 I found that the road was closed, Jackson, WY cancelled!! Turned around, drove all the way back to Billings, MT then onto Rexburg, ID. I will do this probably every 90 days (hopefully without the 7 hr detour).
