Sorry but it looks like I am going to miss this one. I will get my dues to Dave ASAP though.

This is a pass I have always wanted to do, but too much is going on this weekend!

I did get to watch my daughters jump out of an airplane this week!

Chris,

Thanks for joining us today. Good seeing you again. Keep an eye on this board to keep updated on upcoming trail runs. I usually post them about a month in advance.

Marty

I'm beat, so it will probably be tomorrow before I post any pics.

Chris, great wheeling with you also.

Man, what a day! I got back at 8:40pm. Traffic at Idaho Springs was still pretty bad at 7:45pm.

The trail was great! A lot of beautiful/awesome scenery! I will try to get my pics posted tomorrow. I am too tired tonight. The two trails were very long but we did start at about 10:50am from the trailhead.

I think hiking up to those two peaks also did me in. My lungs were struggling (still have a little recovery to go in the lungs from my illness). At over 13,000 ft the KJ's did great, but the breathing was tough when exerting energy walking and jumping around on rocks.

It was a shame we did not have anyone come with stock KJ's. This was a do'able trail for stocks and it was chosen for them.

Would love to camp up there and then hike the ridges to Gray's Peak.

It was a great day. I got a little sun burnt, but I was thinking about the scenery and the wheeling more than the sun. I'll be fine in a few days. 'Til then, just call me "lobsta' face".

I'm trying out this filmstrip thing from photobucket. If you see something you like, you should be able to click on it for a larger (slideshow) view.

Enjoy

If the filmstrip doesn't work, you can view the album here:

Sounds like a great trip. Sorry we could not make it, we wanted to go, but.... Had to spend the weekend shopping for kids school supplies and school clothes.

Looks like a pretty mild trail. Of course we missed the mild one for our "non-lifted" KJ. Maybe, we can make the next run.
