OK guys, let's get started on figuring out when and where on this one. Remember, it has to be a fairly simple trail that everyone can join in, even if they have stockers. Any suggestions? And which weekend works best for everyone, the 23rd or the 30th? If the 23th, I will be out of town, and I know Ted will be working, but the 30th Ted is off, and I will be back in town. Don't let our schedule sway the date though, as our jeeps received a serious arse whoopin' on Spring Creek, and need a serious go over to make sure everything is still functioning properly. Some of the guys were talking about Kingston Peak for the meeting run. Any other ideas, or does that sound acceptable? Here is the traildamage page: http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=14

I think Argentine Pass would be a neat one to check out:

Since I've done Kingston Peak before (though it's been 2 years), I would like to see more of Colorado so I vote for Argentine Pass. I would like to go on the weekend of the 30th (either the 29th or the 30th). Either way, I'll be there.

I'll be there if it's on the 30th. Gotta work the 23rd though.

30th is good for me. I'm open to any trail. I've done Kingston twice and loved the huge water pit. Should be a good one there right now.

I'll go with Argentine but, again, anything will do. I just want us to get a great showing of KJ's.

I think the 30th will be the best beacuse the weekend of the 23rd is the DC Focus group that many of us will be part of... Oh and I am taking that wekend off for it! Gotta show DC the Bumpers

As for trail, let's check out the Argentine Pass, it will be cool to check something new out.

Just saw some pictures and read about the trail. Should be a lot of fun and great scenery. Not a hard trail so anyone still BONE STOCK can do it. I look forward to taking our time for pictures and having lunch up there.

So it looks like most everyone is in for the 30th on Argentine Pass. Awesome, that means I can go too.:D Might actually be a pretty good turn out of members this time. Since the trailhead is at Georgetown, we can meet in Downieville again at the Starbucks say at 9:30, then after the trail run, we can air up in Downieville, and then maybe hit that awesome pizza place in Idaho Springs for our meeting.

Where at? I went skydiving up in Longmont a couple weeks back. RL is right...you basically start your free fall even with the top of the mountains. This way we can save you $180.

Going to have a great crowd this time I think. I might leave my junk home this time and bring the wife's Grand Cherokee for this one. It's a little more comfortable, quieter, and has AC.:D My buddy, Jared, with the big blue XJ, said he is coming as well. I believe he is ready to pay his dues to become a member, which I think a lot of us need to do as well. This meeting might be a good time to pay our member dues for those of us that haven't, like myself.:D Anyone have any suggestions for our meeting location/meal?

I'm sure I'll be able to make this one but again I'll be new to the area and will need detailed directions to meet up please.Starting the 16th I will no longer have internet access till I arrive at Ft Carson on the 20th and that will be limited for awhile so I can pm someone my cell# if needed(just ask) so if you see a bright orange KJ running around the Colorado Springs area before this run don't hesitate to run me down to chat.Looking forward to meeting you all and doing some fun 4x4'ing,I'll bring my vid camera to.

Swing by the house sometime. I am dying to check out your rig. The guys in the Co Springs area usually meet and caravan wherever we go, so directions can be given, but not really necessary for you if you follow the rest of us up. My cell number is on my website so you can call me just about any time, as long as it isn't past 8PM. If you go to www.mapquest.com, just put in my address, and give me a call if you want to meet.

That weekend is ok, but the 29th is better than the 30th...is that an option? Also, I would love to do Wheeler Lake sometime, if anyone is interested.
