Post subject:  Hello, and a question.

Well, I have been on this board since June, and I guess this would be my lost. borad since I like in Colorado. I have not joined yet, but I was planning on starting that process in January.

The question I have is, If I purchase a lift, could I get some help in putting it in? The reason is that I have surgery on my back Nov 05, and is still not right. While I can do some work, I can not do a lot of work, especially comprssing springs and the like. I have most of the tools and stuff to work on it (no air tools), but I will not b able to do it myself.

I would be willing to spring for beer and pizza.

If you look for the LOST Rockies-Colorado by laws in this section, you will see what requirements we have for KJ partys. You can talk with USAFCOP also since he is the Colorado chapter president.

I could not find the bylaws at the website or in the rockies section. Where are they?

yeah, just read those, did not see anything concernig lift parties.

I just wanted to know if I an get help. I don't have the parts. I can get the parts from 4wheel parts here locally and they can install it for $360.00. Just wanted to know if I can get help and save the $360.

As I metion, if it is a matter of joining, I have no problem with that, i am planning to join and i know I have to go on two outing first and be recomended. I have no problem with that and can wait for the process to unfold. Like I mentioned, I was looking for information so i know how to budget it.

IMO, The Rockies guys/gals are all very nice people. I don't think you will have a problem getting some help if you participate in some functions.
