I may have some good news in what the fuel prices are doing to me. I got out of my liberty a year ago because of my family needs and got into a Durango w/hemi (can you say hemi--that is an expensive saying). But the cost of fuel is killing our budget. I may have convinced my wife to get into a CRD Liberty. So I am starting my research on the packages and everything that goes with. This will be mostly a road queen-daily driver with off road capablilities for me. Yahoo!!!! Going to order what exactly what the wife wants and everything I don't need.....Here I coem again!! |

I wish I'd known about the CRD before I bought my 3.7L. Think of it, a 25% savings in fuel economy, more torque, and acceleration that is almost exactly like the 3.7L V6. |

Of course not, they are working on getting rid of their `05 inventory. I'll bet you can get some great deals in September and October. |

Yeah, we got my jeep below the invoice of the dealership around this time last year. Thats a pretty nice deal right there. |

Just test drove one of those CRDs on Quality's lot the day before I left. There is a little bit of turbo lag, but once it kicks in it is nice, man tons of torque and you are up from like 15mph to 50mph before you know it. However, now that I am down and sea level my KJ feels alot more zippier. |

I got behind the wheel of a 05 CRD. I was impressed but the low rpm performance is slow but at about 2k RPMs very respectable. I should be talking to the ordering person tomorrow and find out some more on the 06 pricijng. But I did find out the 06/75K?? is gone for 06. Looking more and more |

Yup same thing I noticed too Ron. Sluggish at first then once you get up to 2k then tubro kicks in and it really moves. |

Same thing happened in my VW GTI. If I really wanted to move off the line I'd have to have the tach at about 2500+ and drop the clutch. Otherwise you'll get the turbo lag. Of course, an auto tranny doesn't give you as many options. |

I have been given the opportunity to go looking now...request a price quote from the local stealer and within a few weeks....I will get what I want instead of being haded what the stealership has. |
