Guys I'm gonna have to cancel for this weekend. I'm going to Moab instead. Our neighbors decided to go and invite us. Moab is one of the only good excuses for not going. I know you feel the same way. Moab or American Fork, hmmm, MOAB!!!!

I'm not going to be able to make the breakfast - so give me a time where we can meet up in the canyon.

I'd guess that we'll get to the reservoir around 9:30, most likely. That should give us enough time to get to Forest Lake in time to have lunch.

Well, Matt (PinchFlat) and his wife were the only ones to show up to collect their free LOST Rockies decal :), but we had a great time anyway. They agreed to be guinea pigs and made a very valiant effort to get up to Forest Lake...but Matt ran into trouble at the same spot where I had to Strap Justin last week. Unfortunately, he hasn't installed tow hooks yet, so we didn't have anything to hook a strap to (safely), and we turned around. But it was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed meeting them.

So, unfortunately, schedules didn't work well to get a larger group together, but we'll keep trying until we get it right. Matt needs to get some beefier tires and some tow hooks so that he can join us for semi-challenging trails like the one we tried today. I understand Nate needs to do a couple of mods, too.

In the meantime, if anyone knows of any fun little trails that we can explore in stock KJs, let us know, particularly if there's nice scenery involved.

BTW...did we miss you Justin, or were you unable to make it? We didn't get to the reservoir until after 10...hope you didn't have to go without us.

Yeah I had a good time and it was nice t meet troy and his great kids. Thanks for the sticker.

After that trail now I KNOW I need tires, rear locker, tow hooks and rocker guards (to start)

Tires are coming this week... on the way home I actually pushed a sharp rock through the tread of my front tire and had to change a flat. :(

Here are some pics my wife shot of the fun.

Sorry guys, I had 2 things come up. 1 - we sold our house. 2 - I installed a lift on our land rover and started 6pm friday got done 2pm sat. We did come up, but it was around 3:30PM.

Troy, I need your cell so I can call you next time. Pics look great!!

I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I was able to get up that hard part this time. Use the brakes and gas at the same time. Our Land Rover was having troubles too, a guy who runs up frequently we ran into suggested instead of trying to get as high as you can away from the rock, go closer to the rock - we did and got up alot easier..... Was a good run, sucks we missed ya guys - so sorry!

Is there any trail cost? I would like to come, if I am still in country. I have a 2004 Liberty, V6, 5 spd, rear locker with skid plates, rough country lift and 255-75-16s. I would like more info as ti8me gets closer.

American Fork entry fee was like $5. Most the trails are fee on public land.

If you see this in time we are doing a meet tomorrow. It's down south near American Fork. Otherwise cya next time.
