My dad is coming into town this Thursday and I was thinking of doing some trail sometime during the weekend. Would anyone else like to go? |

I would, but even though I am taking Sunday off, I have some repairs to do before I go back on the trails... |

Since it sounds like either everyone broke their junk last weekend or no one feels up to another run this weekend, I'll probably be making a easy scenic trail run by myself. I was thinking of doing Mt. Herman Road to Rampart Range Road back into the Springs. Has anyone done this? I figure this will be a nice trip for the tourist side of my dad. |

I have done MT Herman to Woodland Park, then came down Ute Pass. The road Frt Rng Rd from Woodland to CSPGS seems to be a series of short smooth sections connected by long patches of wash board. You may want to take a kidney belt along!! Neither route is really much of a challenge though. |

Since I'm going to be by myself, I figured I wouldn't do anything challenging. Thanks for the tip on the washboard though; I may just air down so I get a more comfortable ride. I'll let y'all know how it turns out. |

Turns out we didn't manage to make the trip after all. There were some complications at home so we didn't get to make it. Everything seems to working out okay so no need to worry and I should be able to make the next run without any problems. |
