Ok this is posted in the KJ Pictures section as well but we're locals so here ya go: Alright so here's a futile effort i got myself into on a saturday afternoon....i know you're not supposed to wheel alone! So keep the indian burns and purple nurpples to a minimum please! I had fun...for the most part haha This was the main reason why I was out in an undeveloped mountain side neighborhood VVV
Anyone order some snow?
Notice the dropoff on the driver's side?
If I knew how to drive this I woulda just towed my jeep out before I wanted to spend the night up here.
At this point im stuck, because I created my own dynometer ruts in the snow and if i back up any further i would end up sideways in the ditch.
So, with a heavy foot on the skinny pedal and a lil digging with my army surplus shovel i am able to pull forward and back down in my original ruts! TOO CLOSE FOR COMFORT!
Where would i be without my survival kit and shovel....always carry one in the back of your vehicle for all seasons!

A shovel can really be a life saver at times. I had a similar situation and did the same thing you did to get out. My problem was the dropoff was about 100 feet so I sure as heck didn't want to go there! |
