Post subject:  If you are from Colorado............

Looking for all the Colorado LOST members and those that quietly lurk on here.

Here's who I have come up with so far. If I am missing your name, please post and let us know and include your interest with Bling, off-road, or on-road only (no interest in doing any off-roading).

If your name is listed, reply and let us know if you have an interest in off-roading, bling, or on-road only.

You know my interest - offroading.

Maybe post this in the main section as well with a link to our forum. Also, we should PM each of these folks individually with an invite to check out the local section (and come on a run). Some of them might not know we even exsist. It's sad to see that many people when we really only have 5 or 6 ACTIVE members. I know not everyone has the time or same level of interest, but with 29 folks from Colorado we should have one of the biggest, baddest clubs around.

Check one more for the off-road group. Not alot of time on my hands but would love to come out an see how the seasoned KJ'ers wheel these IFS's. I beat the crap out of my stockers front end on it's maiden voyage up Bill Moore Lake.

I am still trying to find the right Jeep to buy as of yet....

I found a Grand Cher lauredo for $17000 with 29,000 miles....might buy that but I really like the Liberty.

I am into anything....on, off....:)

Mainly interested in off-roading but up for just about anything Jeep related. I have about 5 more months on this deployment then I'll be active again. I'll be home for the beginning of November, so any that are available on the 6th, let's do something.

Well, I just joined today (posted earlier in 'new members' sticky. I'm up for off-roading, mainly for the learning experience. I don't have much 4x4 time under my belt and would love to see what my KJ can do (and what its limits are!).

I'm interested in off-roading. I just got back from a weekend trip around the Breckenridge area. Went down Radical Hill...now that's fun! I'll post pictures as soon as I can get some uploaded to a website.

I'm from Castle Rock, within a few miles. I'm definitely into local offroading (it's a Jeep, right?), but since I'm a student still I find it hard to make time for any sort of serious trail running at any distant location (a "trip"). I will find time here and there but it might only be very occasional. Obviously summertime is a different story! 8)

Hi there, I'm Eric! I live on the Eastern plains of CO, near Kiowa. Saw, but did not get a chance to talk to, Skyjump136 at Camp Jeep a couple weeks ago. Interested in offroading, but I've never really been and don't have a lot of extra time/$$$ for it.

Went up Mt. Herman Rd and down Rampart Range Rd just yesterday. I know that's suppposed to be a pretty easy run, but that's only my second run of any sort (once on Old Flowers Rd also).

Since our Liberty is our only car/commuter/grocery runner, I have to be pretty nice to it, so rock crawling is out for me. However, our roads out in the country can turn real sloppy, so in the spring, mudbogging can be a daily activity!

That's the same for pretty much everybody. Almost everybody drives the Liberty as their primary vehicle. Don't let that stop you. Just because you do some fun trails doesn't mean you have to tear up your vehicle. Just make sure you've got some skids and you'll be set for about 90% of what we do.

If you want to do some of the more hardcore stuff then you'd need a lift and rockrails as well. Even on those trails none of us is really looking to beat up on our KJs (except maybe USAFCOP  )

Here's my post. I just registered not too long ago because I'm a new owner of a 2005 Jeep Liberty Sport CRD. I live in the Longmont area.

I'm not new to Jeepin, just new to the Liberty scene. I have a 1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport with a 2" Lift and 30" Tires. I've installed a wilderness bumper w/tire carrier, LED tail lights, bored tb, and a tb spacer. Other then that it's my primary wheeler now that I have the liberty, so the plans are endless.

Hey, I'm a flatlander from Florida moving near Trinidad by the end of the month. I hope to tag along and learn from you guys.
I just put in my lift and some skids. Hope to have my super skid and boulder bars on by the time I get out there. But with all the packing I'm doing it may become a winter project.
Winter is going to take some getting use to. When it gets in the sixties here we put on the heater!

Then I hate to tell you this, but it won't even break into the 60s here today! It snowed in the mountains last night.

Welcome! :D

I had my KJ's windows open driving home and the EVIC said it was 58 degrees out. All that sun just heats up the inside of a vehicle.
