Anyone else have Creaking windows???

anytime i hit a bump or the suspension flexes in the city (like on a speed bump or going up a ramp in a parking garage) my windows creak. and when i roll them down from the closed position, the passenger side window makes a horrible squeal until its about half way down. Im pretty sure the tracks need to be lubricated or something is lodged in the tracks...

any chance you've been in the sand? or mud? I've had a problem kinda like that, but it was due to debris in the track/rubber seal......

Yes, could be dirt/dust in the window area. Also, make sure your windows are all the way up. Sometimes you may think you took them all the way up, but they aren't at they highest possible position. I find I have that issue sometimes and will periodically pull up on the switches and I hear a window move up a little.

i called GO Chrysler-Jeep today and they said its not an uncommon occurance, but it usually happens to wranglers, not liberties. they said that its dirt in the lift mechanism and the tracks. they said they'll fix both front windows for free under warranty and relubricate the tracks. they are also going to re clear the trans temp light that comes on in reverse. im super excited about that!!!!!!!!!!!!
