I need to be in Littleton on 9/8 to draw the winning ticket in the Car Toys Scion give away. I should be done by 2PM so I would be availabe later in the afternoon or perhaps Sunday 9/9 anytime. Anyone want to get together?

I'm down. Denise has testing to become a State employee on Saturday, and after 2pm is kind-of late. Sunday would work better for us. Maybe we can try one of those other trails Darryl had planned out.

Well, I was supposed to book a room near whatever trail we were to go on but a choice was never made so I had to punt and went to MOAB. You gotta remember that you guys are a bit of a drive for me!

I don't know CO trails so I am counting on my peeps in the CO to hook it up.

Sunday is perfectly fine for me. If one of you guys entered the Car Toys drawing, maybe you'll win the JL Audio Scion XB and you can wheel that!

I am off on the 9th.

I forgot, is your jeep lifted, or still stock? Armor?

Just trying to think of a trail we could do, maybe try Cascade creek, earlier in the year it was still snow blocked. It is only an easy or moderate at best trail, but could be a scenic drive. http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=126

Or for a more challenging run we could try another trail if you want something more difficult. Trail damage has a lot listed.

We had a stock CRD up there and it made it,it only had the front skid and Skink Sliders, and that's it(no lift). The Polaris that tagged along didn't do to well, broke a front CV.

The part that he broke on was an off shoot, that was not cascade cr. The carnage happened after we took a side route when the primary trail was just a snow drift.

If you don't like it, pick something else.

Since this was an offer run from JL, this is not (as of now) an official LOST Rockies run, so membership requirements will not apply to this one. Any and all are welcome, unless JL says otherwise.

I apologize, Ted, for mis-reading your post. I initially thought you were recommending a difficult trail off the bat, not as an option.

What do your membership requirements say about me attending LOST runs then? I'm a little confused. Am I not welcome on your runs any more because I am not an official member of LOST Rockies? Marty suggested LOST Rockies show us Patriot guys a little homely respect as we are no-doubt being laughed at as the Liberty was when it was first released. To be honest, I've had some fun running with LOST Rockies. But I don't own a Liberty and wouldn't feel right joining the LIBERTY Owners Special Team; know what I mean?

I fully understand your view on the club as you stated above, as it has been discussed on runs.
The by-laws state that"
Quote:
Guests are allowed to attend two (2) club activities/events before they are expected to join the club in accordance with section IV-8 of these By-Laws.
8. To remain in good standing a club member must pay his/her dues within 60 days of due date and attend 2 club activities a year. Any exceptions to these requirements are to be submitted to the Board of Directors and presented to the membership for action.

This means for official runs you cannot attend, however, non official runs, or runs that you want to invite us as informal get together runs, like the labor day weekend run you just did and the one in this thread you can wheel, but our members will still want to abide by our trail rules and courtesies, which I do not think is a big deal, if you do, and want to do something different, please ensure that the participants understand that the run is not an official run.

I hope this is not interpreted as harsh, I am just trying to be straight forward, please PM me with questions, and lets keep this thread for JL's run.

I've always had the armor, recently, I got tires and a lift. I still would be in the Novice category as I have never done a difficult trail.

I met some of you guys in MOAB and I just thought it would be cool to hang out and do some trails. I am not a member, I am not opposed to being a member, just not sure how to go about it.

I am under the impression it's Sunday. Whatever trail is best for everyone is OK with me. I will need to get a hotel room so if someone can recommend an area that's in the trails neighborhood. I'll need to stay somewhere Sat night.
I am probably going to come in on Friday.

I do have to leave on Friday to go to the CO. Any ideas where I should be staying on Sat night? I don't mean to be a PITA, but I do have to book a room.

Thanks dudes.
