That's right, I'm packing up the family and we're moving to Colorado Springs. I'll have to do business out of the garage for a little while til I get a shop, but I will be getting pretty serious on rock rails while I find a new manufacturer so I can get things rolling on my new KJ bumpers. Look forward to meeting and wheeling with you all, even though I don't have a KJ. The XJ is getting a big makeover with D44 front/9" rear, 37's, and a bunch of other neat doodads. Maybe one day I'll get it in a magazine.:D Anyone like to flyfish?

Should be rolling up in the big truck Nov. 2nd.

Welcome to the Rockies and Colorado Springs in general. Unfortunately I don't know of any machine shops like you mentioned in your post in the General Section, but if you need any help with anything else, let me know (especially if you need a test vehicle for your KJ parts  ).

You and USAFCOP will have to hook up. He likes to diddle with his KJ and he's in the Springs area.

Welcome to The Rockies. I see your from Augusta. Where exactly is that in Kansas? I have drove through that state so many times back to KC, but never seen Augusta. Excited to see some of your products. Nice site by the way.

Cool! Welcome!

It sounds more like you'll just be dragging our KJs up the hill with that XJ. That should be quite the rig.

(And I like to tinker with my KJ as well...I'm about a 20 minute drive north of C. Springs)

My next move is to put Boulder Bars on. Let me know if you have something comparable.

Nice. You did it right with the three frame supports. Good work.

Very nice product! I think what stood out most though are the tires on the KJ. I just put those Wranger Silent Armor's on. Man they are nice. Just love the way the handle. Can't wait to get them off-road though.

Well, I can't make any promises for discounted parts and what not, but some help would definately be appreciated (wife had C-Section a few weeks ago and I have about $300,000 in reconstructive back surgery). I mentioned to a few other CO jeepers that I know that I plan to fire up the grill and do a pot luck meet and greet the first weekend or next after we move in, for those that can help. The wife won't be cooking, so it will be safe.:D

Dang, I just read that post about a wheeling trip that first weeknd in November. Really wish I could go. Been up Red Cone before, not too rough, unless your afraid of edges (like me:D).

well, depending on my work schedule, I might be able to help you move/unload the truck on wed the 2nd, may be able to take a free day because I will have to work the football game on the 5th. I can not promise anything, but I can try to scam the boss. Just PM me the address, or give me a call, I will send ya my cell number.

Sounds good. Any help we can get will be appreciated, but don't stress if you can't. The more people we get, the faster we get unpacked, the sooner I get to break out the new Miller 210 and some other toys and get to work on sliders and bumpers.

I won't have an address until after next weekend. We are coming up next Thursday through Monday to look for a house. It will be up around the Chapel Hills/Briar Gate area, so not too far from the Academy. I'll let you know as soon as we get the address figured out.
