Has anyone here done or know anything about the Hole-in-the-Rock Trail which starts just east of Escalante, UT? Massey and Wilson SW #22 rate it on a scale of 1-10, a 1 and only a 4 for the last 5.3 miles. I've done some research online and everything I read rates it as pretty tough trail which contradicts Massey and Wilson. I'd appriciate any information and opinions from anyone that has run it. I have not, but many of my friends have done it....too much highway for the EB and the KJ is not ready for it yet.... Check out rockymountainextreme.com there are some trip reports and several discussions about the trail. |
