Post subject:  Shooting Get Together?
Hey - I noticed alot of CO folk are into shooting. What do we say we get a meet n' greet/get together organized to go shooting? We could maybe go to up to Lefthand (just an idea) and drive back to the canyon to shoot. Shoot some targets and have some clay games. Please comment if you interested and I'll set up a date and location. Where and when works for everyone?

(P.S. Sorry I've been MIA for a while... been a little hectic)

This is something i'm definetly game for. I can bring the following:

Remington 1100 Auto 12 Gauge
Remington .22 Auto

i vote we pick up a few boxes of clays and have us a good time :) everybody should bring anything they are willing to shoot and we'll make the best of it. anybody else game?

next is to chose a location.

No bosses, supervisors, ex's, in-laws, neighbors pets, neighbor's, daughter's loser boyfriend allowed for target practice. I know, ruins the fun.

Just my girlfriend. I have been teaching her how to shoot. Had never shot a gun before this summer. It hilarious seeing a 5'2 person shoot a big 12 gauge. LOL

well, I got a 357 and a 30/30 model 94 lever action.

If you all want to wait a week or so, let me talk to the boss, and we may be able to use my range. That is if you all do not mind driving south.

it will not be this weekend if we use the USAFA range, Football game... Maybe week or two next, as I said things have changed a lot since I left and came back, so I will have to see. It also depends on what other agencies are using the range as well.

aright, well let us know when you can. maybe if we have access to it it will determine the date of availability. so does this sound like a go? should i go forward with setting up potentional dates? i vote for 2-4 weeks from now on a weekend. saturday or sunday works for me. hows this sound? and how does lefthand sound?

Sorry guys the range is a no go. If we do it, then we have to open it up to everybody with a military ID card and their friends too. It is just too much of a liability, especially if there is no one working.

There are a lot of places to shoot up on old stage road and Rampart range road.
