Well, found a place online, set up an appointment, went and looked at it, and it fits the bill. Troy and I are going to check it out again this Saturday, but I'm feeling pretty good about this place. I've been looking around for some time now, and ran across a few different places in the right price range and size of around 1250-1500 sq/ft, but just never jumped on them fast enough. So, I was looking online again yesterday, and found one that was too good to be true. It was the same price range as the others I looked at, but this place is 3300sq/ft, has heat and a loading dock, which is good since I'm getting a lot more interest is international shipping and distributors. I needed something big enough to do product manufacturing and jeep buildups/lift and part installs. This place is definately big enough. Oh, and it comes with a 70 (maybe 80) foot by 10 foot shipping container for storage. It's also real close to I-25 so real easy to get to. So, hopefully we'll be moving in real soon.

Things aren't going to stop, infact, they will probably speed up since there will be more room for more work to get done. I've been working in a 400 sq/ft garage for the last two years, there isn't a lot to move, and when Troy and I are working in the garage together on two different projects, things move pretty slow sometimes, so this will be a big improvement. :D

HMMMM,a 621B CAT scraper,I hate those things with a passion  ,changing the front tires  ,replacing a starter  ,replacing/rebiulding the bowl lift cylinders   ,trying to reach the rear brake chamber lines with a 100lbs of gear on to get the rear brakes to release         .Though 621B's are just a hair better to work on then the CAT heavy road graders,or D8's that you have zero chances of getting any spare parts for     !

Sorry for the hijack but seeing those dang things brought bad memories back from Iraq and Afganistan.

Congrats on the new shop-to-be!!!

If the GF doesn't have plans when you are ready to move, I'd be more than happy to assist on the weekend.

after re reading this, i have to say a 627 or a 637 scrapper is by far the worst since that have twin engines.... i just love D8's...idk if you have ever had to fix one of their hydro pumps but its a blast

Thing back on my earlier comment, i like excavators

Awesome Marty. Great find.

I'd be willing to help with the move if it works out with my wife's Honey Do List.

Marty, I know you are well over due for this type of space and accommodations. If everything works out, Sarah and I would be happy to come up to the Springs and help you out for the day.

Thanks guys. I called the landlord today to setup another meeting for Saturday to get one more look over to make sure there aren't going to be any surprises and probably sign the paperwork. They say they will hold it for me for 30 days, so it will probably be mid November before I actually move in. I'm going to have to build a ramp so vehicles can get in the building, but that won't be difficult, but I would like to take up any offers to help. I will have to build the ramp in the building since my welder won't reach the dock from where the plug is located. The ramp will be two pieces (one ramp for each side of the vehicle) and then tied together so they don't move once they are outside. Each ramp will probably be around 600 lbs of steel. Oh, and if anyone has any carpentry skills, I'll eventually put in an office at the personnel door.

I'm pretty excited about this place. Big enough to put a basketball court in and still have room to work. Looks like Dave's jeep will be the first to get a lift installed. He has a 4" Al's lift going to be here sometime next week.

Now I will have to also think about bigger tires so it doesn't look as bad.
Still looking at Ted's ARB's.

Chuh-ching.

Luckily I sold my stock tires and wheels but that money was to cover powdercoating the front bumper (when it comes out) and to add the super bars to my skinks. I'll need to get the super bars to help me and the gf climb in the KJ.....hehehe!

Let's see...I'll have to remove my roof basket so I can still get in the garage. Only 1" spare clearance with basket on and it sits about 3" above rails.

1.5" more lift than the Rusty's + future 32.5" tires (+.5" in tire radius increase from the MTRs) so a total of 2" of lift from my current setup.

Say goodbye to my Warranty.
