Well that was one heck of a trip today! Except for a few grooves in the skid we came out fairly un-scathed  . Got some great pics I will send around to everyone who went today, and for that matter who didn't. I think our Jeep is officially "Trail Rated" now.

Anyone who wants copies of todays pics send me your email address and I will forward on over.

Andrea and I want to say thanks again for the nail biting experience, and we can't wait to start fixing the KJ up for the next run.

I'm glad you guys came out. It was definitely a good time.

Good thing you turned back when you did though. Ted's spotting had me stuck within 5 minutes.

Send pics here... joelleman@comcast.net

Yeah, after you saw which line not to take. I'm just giving you a hard time. There were much easier lines to be had for sure. It was a fun time.

Yes, thanks for coming out on the run. It was great meeting both of you. So now you know what to expect. St Vrain was simple compared to Coney Creek. Some serious skid, rails, and rear arm banging on that trail. Joel got wedged in tight and Jim had to be helped a bunch in the same turn area. I hit pretty hard in a few spots.

Definitely a Stock KJ killer trail.

Got it. I always check here first going from the oldest post to the newest post. I didn't catch the link until I had already responded. I sent the link to my wife and, after she saw the pictures, she sounded pretty excited about us getting together on the 6th. Hope to see you all then.
