Hard to believe it's about that time of year again. So, last year we had a great turn out for the first year. It was at my place and Pete put together a great video with a lot of pictures from that years trail runs. Pete is overseas this year, so if anyone would like to put together a 15-20 minute dvd of pictures from all of the runs this year, that would be great, but if not that's ok too.

Main things we need to figure out is date, time and place. Probably sometime mid December, possibly on a Saturday afternoon. With all the new members this year, it might be a little cramped at my place, and I'm clear down here in the springs. Maybe someplace in the Denver area. Maybe a restaurant with a trough, I mean buffet, and a banquet area. Perhaps someone in Denver can find a decent Golden Corral or similar and figure out reservation details?

Let's hear your thoughts and ideas.

Well, I will be TDY from the 2nd to the 20th, so how about Saturday the 22nd of December. Or is this too close to the actual holiday?

Also, don't forget the Toys for Tots and Toys in Denver and for Social Services run in C. Springs headed by Colorado4x4.org, dates have not been listed that I can find yet.

i also have no problem figuring out details about reserving a golden corral in the denver area, although a rough head count makes things A LOT easier with them. i had to reserve a golden corral before for my band class, and they can get hostile when you tell them i dont have an estimate of people...

I am always going back to Ohio for Christmas (except the year I bought my condo in December `03) Noooooo money left that holiday. Wow! I am about to reach 4 yrs in my condo! Time zooms.

Depending on my girlfriends plans (she shares her kids with her ex) and what we want to do for the holidays, I have to be a "Maybe" until I know if I'll be around or not, which needs to be soon.

I definitely want to drive the rig home to Ohio with that 4" lift on it. That'll be a great test.

I would really like to attend this year. Let me know when you nail down the date and what I can do to help.

Hopefully I will get the lift installed this weekend, as I finally have some time to do it now. Thanks for your help on the CO4x4 in getting everything for the Libby!

So what dates do we plan to do?

Once I get back, I am taking leave until the 5th of Jan, so we could do it after Christmas, and maybe make it like a new years thing too?

I welcome any posibility of meeting up with any of my. L.O.S.T. bretheren although I have been branded by King Soopers AKA:Kroger as both a Lier and a Theif. I truly appreciate the prayers and the support of my L.O.S.T. bretheren. Even though my events inmy life, have faced additional set backs their is additional betrayal and events that I have not yet supplied to you all. I will be happy to supply details, but I admit I find these both degrading and humilitating.. I wil answer all questions since I admit guilt and wrong doining but I declair that I did not try to decieve.

It would be neat to see old faces and to meet new faces. However, Ted’s idea (meeting after Christmas) would probably work best for Sarah and I.

So is this a bust this year?

I am going to be gone from the 2nd-20th, so I can't help, and I will be working the 30th, 1-2 Jan, so if you all want to do something between the 21 and 29 I would be good...

I’m not trying to beat a dead horse, and I know this might not be the most convenient time to bring this up, nor am I a club officer, but I was hoping we all could set a time and date for a LOST ROCKIES Christmas Dinner if approved by the club officers. Here’s what I’m thinking: If enough interest sparks up then we could vote on a weekend that would best fit the majority of the club members. I think it would be best if a few of us participated in a club dinner vs. none of us.

(Rhett/Sarah) Dates Available: DEC. 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, 30, 31

We can handle the 28-31 dates. Have some installs and other projects planned for the 21-22.

How about Saturday, December 29th? Looks like this might be good for:
1) TJKJ2002
2) ROCK LIZARD/FAMILY
3) USAFCOP/FAMILY
4) DIESEL/SPOUSE

Anyone else want to chime in as a POTENTIAL DATE?
