Hi, My name is John and I live in Lafayette, Co. Just moved here from the east coast and can't wait to get my Jeep off-road.

I have an 05 Limited CRD that I am going to install a Daystar lift kit on as soon as I can get rid of the moving boxes in my garage. :)

WOW, good to hear we've got somebody else north of Denver here. Must be a CRD thing.

Let me know if you would like help with the lift, when the boxes are cleared....

Post subject:  I guess I better check in.

I am a new 2006 Liberty Sport owner in Littleton. I am not new to Jeeps though. The Liberty is my second new Jeep. My first new Jeep was a 1975 red CJ5 that cost me $5022.00 including tax.

I did a lot of 4 wheeling in the area in the late 70's early 80's. I have done Red Cone, Webster, Mosquito, Haggerman, Scofield, Opher and Hancock passes but not for over 25 years.

I am planning to get back into 4 wheeling this year with the Liberty. I have the off-road package and the only mod I have done so far is to add XM radio and a Wayfinder compass.

Last year I recreated a trip from 1976 with a friend and won a photo contest in the Denver Post.

http://denver.yourhub.com/Story.aspx?contentid=20487

If the link still works you see that I have to fix the photo this year. My Liberty has to replace the Ford Escape (ugh).

Anyway I wanted to check in and will be following the LOST Rockies forum. The Ouray trip may work out around the time I want to recreate the photo with my friend from Ohio. I will know for sure later.

Thanks,

Phil T

Littleton

Welcome to the LOST family (that's what we really are ... a family) and LOST Rockies in particular. Can't wait to meet up with you on the trails.

Howdy all. New to L.O.S.T. and to the KJ, but not to Jeep. I've owned an '83 CJ 7 and a '92 Wrangler sahara in the past. I currently live in Breckenridge, but I'm getting hitched this Summer and relocating to the front range. Hope to get together and do some wheeling with you soon.

Howdy all! Just a few pics of my new and improved KJ. I think it looks great, have no idea why Jeep does not offer a Rubicon model. Hope to catch you soon on my first wheeling outing.

Welcome Mongrol...KJ looks great but you might want to invest in some sliders/rails/bars and sell those step rails if you plan on hitting some good trails.

Hehe, just waiting to find a buyer for them. I was thinking of going with the Boulder Bars, any other recomendations? Also, when are we going wheeling?

Get the Rock Lizard Skink Sliders. He lives local so you wouldn't have to deal with shipping. They are beefy.

Good lookin' KJ. I think silver is my favorite color on a KJ. I know Breckenridge is kinda far, and it's short notice, but we are having a club meeting/wheeling trip planned for this Sunday. Here is the post, just have to read through it real quick, but the most up to date info is around page 5 or 6:
http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... php?t=8252

One of the plans with the meeting is to setup a meeting/wheeling schedule for a few months in advance, so we don't have to go through a nightmare of figuring out something last minute.

I haven't posted here for a really long time.

My name is Damon Smerchek
I live in beautiful Roxborough
I teach science at Dakota Ridge high school and I do tons of 4 wheelin. I have an 89 cherokee that I do the crazy stuff in, and use the KJ for toolin around in the back country

I forget my LOST # so help with that would be great.

I am very handy with almost anything on the jeeps. I have built several rigs now, and do all of the work myself. I would be happy to hep if you need it.

Nice to see another XJ guy.:D It's short notice, but we are having a trail run/club meeting this Sunday, if you can make it down to Colorado Springs.
