Yesterday I was kinda bummed that we didn’t go to Colorado Springs to be part of the lift festivities. However, I was in Hastings and picked up a “Jeep Junkie” magazine, and guess what? First page I saw the back of Troy’s pumpkin orange KJ, a few pages later was a write up on Rock Lizards front/rear bumper again showing Troy’s rear-end, and then a few pages later was Ted’s Jeep in Moab, a nice write up about KJ’s, LOST and Ted‘s Jeep addiction. Then a few pages later I saw a Rock Lizard Fabrication advertisement. So it was like being a home with the boys. |

OK, I'm in the dark on this one. Is Jeep Junkie a new magazine or one that I haven't heard of? Can I get a subscription; if there is that much KJ stuff in it I would like to encourage them by purchasing their magazine. Also, is there any way for me to get it over here? Could someone send me a copy? |

Hey buddy, it's good to hear from you! Obviously Troy, Marty, and Ted should know about “JEEP JUNKIE” since they have a great deal of highlights in the magazine. If I remember correctly, Marty said it is a new JEEP magazine that focuses on a variety of Jeep makes and models. It’s not just another Wrangler magazine! |

Actually Jeep Junkie has been around for a while, they used to focus on the FSJ's, I used to get it when I had my 79 Cherokee. They have new ownership and are looking to cater to readers, so they will write about what the customer shows interest in (they will keep their FSJ roots though). Many articles are reader submissions. I was asked to write mine, and they contacted Marty about his products. Good group. Pete, how's it going? Need anything? |

which issue was it?[/quote] Not sure, I’m assuming it was the December issue, but I guess it could have been the January issue. |

Things are going pretty smoothly over here. Actually, there really isn't much of anything going on. Supposedly, this is the quietest area in Iraq right now. In other words, it's boring. The only thing I can think of that I could use right now is a ticket home but that's going to have to wait. At least I can now say that I have less than a year left on this rotation! |

The mag is a quarterly publication, and it was in the summer issue. Pete you just stay bored then OK. See ya when we both get back next fall/winter Unless I can get a flyaway mission up there, if so I will try to get ahold of you before I leave. |
