Finally broke down and did what I thought was the impossible today. Traded in my 2001 Cherokee Sport for a 2002 Jetta fully loaded...darn...its a nice car too. 4 cylinder with turbo. Moonroof...cruise control...the works...this car is sweet! And now...I drive the wifes old Liberty. Ive got plans for it. Anybody have some good recommendations for websites to buy quality parts and upgrades?

Welcome! It's great to have another Utahn join the club!

There will be plenty of advice offered, but don't forget to keep your eye on the goal: Moab! 8)

Welcome to LOST rockies. I think JL is just bitter that he wanted to be in CO and his work told him he had to go to UT....

Overall, don't read into it, we all like each other, we just like to poke fun now and then.

Check out Rock Lizard Fabrication http://www.rocklizardfabrications.com/

They make the stuff that will turn your KJ into a super-fly offroad whip!

I am a happy client.

Thank you Troysterr and JL...I have the Rocklizard site already. Used them for the Cherokee and I plan to have their rear bumper, skids, roof rack and whatnot but the front bumper displeases me honestly. It needs to have a winch mount built in. :P

I have the rear bumper with both swing outs. He's working on a front bumper with a winch mount. Last time I talked to Marty, he felt that he could get er done in time for MOAB. I really like the ARB bumper too, but I think that I'm going to hold out for the RL. I don't want to speak for him, but I think the current offering (non winch) was prioritized to hit a price point. I think that once a winch is involved, the complexity (and price) goes way up. I am not a fabricator so take it with a grain of salt.

Now that I see more active Utahns on here, we could get an active chapter going. Most of the time I go wheeling, it's with the CO chapter who always seem to get out there often.
