I think the rockies chapter ought to include a couple more states like wy,id,or nv. just a idea. i'm glad utah is included in a lost chapter and i think it would suck to join lost and not be in one. we should help the kj owners in these states find a home in lost! what do ya'll think?

I'm open to adding one (maaaaaaybe two) more state. It's already tough to get together as it is though. Expanding our territory makes it that much more impersonal and I don't think that really helps the new folks out either. Joining a "local" club they can't really be a part of doesn't make much sense. Plus, I'd much rather see some demand from these folks before we just throw them on the map. It forces them to get actively involved in putting together runs and recruiting new folks. When I first joined lost there weren't any real local clubs other than KJ West. In my opinion demand should drive the creation of local chapters and dictate where they are. So far that's worked great.

I will say this though - whatever states we add should at least be able to claim some Rocky Mountains within their borders. That means mostly looking to the north.

Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado are Rocky Mountain states, but we all know it is not feasible to do group runs together. The states are just too big.

Arizona has it's own chapter. Wyoming would probably be the only other state that could join us and possibly go do trails with us (within reason).

Of course, this isn't all about off-roading either.
