Colorado Visit

Since Camp Jeep was nixed, Im thinking of driving out to CO in July. I'd like to spend a few days in Beuna Vista and a few more near Durango. If I drive out on 7/19 & 7/20, and back on 7/26 & 7/27, does anyone want to wheel? I'd like to do Tin Cup / Alpine Tunnel and Black Bear Pass that week, but I'm open to others too. Also, if someone in the Front Range area doesn't mind, I'd like to drop my street tires for the week so I don't have to cart them all over Colorado

When I called the NFS to ask about one of the passes, the guy indicated that some stuff wouldn't open until August. Should I delay my trip until August to make sure all this snow melts?

That's up to you... it was a crazy snow year so black bear might stay closed later... I guarantee we'll find good stuff regardless but if you want a sure thing for black bear you may want to wait.

Well, this idea was good until I started organizing the East Coast Safai. Silly me, I let people vote on dates for that and now my Colorado trip is going to have to wait another year :cry:

Well, maybe I'll have another business trip out that way... Moab was fun.
