I am seriously considering selling the KJ, not because I don't want the KJ anymore, but because I can't afford it and the other car I want even more.

If everything works out, I might be ordering a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8. What do you guys think?

Negative. You won't be able to mall crawl anymore.

lift and skids would be custom
but you'd have the Torque to pull bigger tires without a gearing change. :)

That's why it's not a 2008, they only came in auto that year.

Well, I had been considering a custom lift in the future on the KJ anyways ...

I'm not selling the KJ and buying a Challenger. There are many reasons but the top one is responsibility. Jen will be pregnant again in the near future and it would be irresponsible of me to sell the 'utility' vehicle to purchase a 2-door muscle car. There may be an occasion in the future to get one (and keep the Jeep) but right now, it would not be the smart decision.

That said, all plans to drop a lot of money into the Jeep when I get home are back in motion.

Good to hear. Does Jenny know about the sudden pregnancy that will occur in the near future?

Out of the vehicles I have, the KJ would probably be last to go. It's the most functional, not the best gas milage, but it will carry the wife and I, plus the grand daughter as well as the daughters. It does fine on road trips even though its lifted. It has proved to be the best around town vehicle here in CO during the winters. We can use it for camping etc. My daughter drives it to school daily, and I use it when I am home. Out of all the vehicles it is definately the most practical for the family.

Kidding aside, this will be an in vitro pregnancy that has been planned for since before I left.

When do you say congratulations for a scheduled pregnancy? Do we still wait until afterwards?

There is a chance that the in vitro won't take so I will post when it is official ... wish us luck and keep us in your prayers especially since with Zach there were alot of complications.
